I wasn’t technically born in Texas, but I’ve been here most of my life and feel right at home! I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, then lived in Kingwood for a while and ended up in Boerne for several years where I graduated HS. I’ve been married for 15 years and have 2 wonderful sons, ages 9 & 1, who keep me busy!
I attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio Texas my freshman year on scholarship and played in the women’s golf team. I transferred to Texas Tech University for my sophomore year, where I spent the next three years and graduated with my Bachelors of Sport Science. Go Red Raiders! I moved back to San Antonio after graduation and taught golf lessons for 10 years. During this time, I owned and ran a golf driving in New Braunfels with my husband, Gatlyn, and father in law, Billy. My husband and I worked hard for about seven years, sold it and started our real estate business together.
I’ve played piano since I was 6 years old, thanks to my parents! I was a part of the Gruene United Methodist church for 10 years and sang and played piano for most of that time on the worship team. I grew up singing in church choirs at times and always had a love for music and its healing power and connection to the Holy Spirit. We recently moved to the Bulverde area and joined BMC! What a blessing this church is to my family.
