Bulverde Methodist Men

At Bulverde Methodist Church, we believe that when a man accepts Jesus Christ and joins our church family, he begins a new journey in faith. The Bulverde Methodist Men (BMM) are here to walk alongside him—encouraging one another to live out our commitments through a covenant relationship with Christ. BMM is open to all men—no need to be a Bible scholar or have it all figured out. We’re a group of everyday guys who love things like sports, cars, big-screen TVs, music, grilling, travel, and building stuff. We work hard to support our families, navigate life’s financial responsibilities, and try our best to balance it all. Sound familiar? But above all, we’re men who recognize our deep need for Jesus Christ and the importance of keeping Him at the center of our homes and lives. We invite every man in the church to be part of this community. Your presence matters. Together, let’s grow stronger in faith, brotherhood, and purpose.

What do BMMs do?

The Bulverde Methodist Men (BMM) are active year-round, serving both our church and community in meaningful ways. Here’s how we live out our mission:

Host Annual Fundraisers – We organize several events each year to support local charities, individuals in need, and the mission of our church.
Pray Together – We gather in prayer for those facing challenges, offering spiritual strength and encouragement.
Mentor Men of All Ages – We walk alongside other men—young and old—offering guidance, friendship, and accountability.
Build Fellowship – We foster a strong sense of brotherhood through shared experiences and community outreach.
Offer Support in Tough Times – We stand by men facing hardship, providing emotional and spiritual support when it’s needed most.
Create a Welcoming Entry Point – For men who may not be comfortable stepping into church on their own, BMM offers a relatable and inviting place to start.
Invest in Youth – We help fund youth participation in Christian camps and fellowships, planting seeds of faith in the next generation.
Equip Men for Leadership at Home – Through training and discipleship, we help men become stronger fathers, husbands, and spiritual leaders in their families.

About Our Steak Breaks

The Bulverde Methodist Men gather regularly for Steak Breaks—a casual, come-as-you-are evening of fellowship and food hosted at one of our members’ homes. Just bring a cut of meat to grill, your favorite beverage, and a friend. Our host will provide all the sides, so you can focus on connecting and enjoying the evening. We kick things off at 6:30 p.m. and usually wrap up around 8:30 p.m. The main event isn’t the meal—it’s the fellowship. It’s a simple, meaningful way to build friendships, strengthen our faith, and welcome new faces.
